Billings police saw another year of steady increases in local crime in 2017, with an uptick in rapes, drugs and repeat petty thefts among the standout trends. Property crime, violent crime and dispatch calls were all up last year from 2016, Billings Police Chief Rich St. John said at a press conference Thursday.
