Authorities report that a Great Falls man died in a snowmobile crash on Friday. Lewis & Clark County Coroner Bryan Backeberg has identified the man as Lee Schuler, 40. The accident happened near the intersection of Beaver Creek Road and Stonewall Creek Road north of Lincoln.
The Montana Highway Patrol said one person died in a crash in Cascade County on Saturday.

A 20-year-old man arrested in East Helena is suspected of stabbing another man in Bozeman. Judge Michael Swingley set Jonathan Meyer’s bond at half a million dollars at a Thursday Justice Court Appearance. According to Gallatin County charging documents, Bozeman Police responded to a stabbing at an apartment on the 3300 block of Warbler Way just after 10:30 p.m. on January 19. When officers arrived they found the victim had been stabbed multiple times in the area around his heart.

A man was arrested Thursday night after leading law enforcement on a high-speed car chase through Billings' Heights and crashing into a fence along Lake Elmo. The chase began earlier in the evening when Montana Highway Patrol Trooper Darvin Mees tried to pull over a pickup for not stopping at a stoplight in the Heights.

Last week unknown suspects spray painted graffiti at Lewis & Clark Middle School, Senior High, and multiple homes and vehicles in the area of the 10 block of Burlington Ave. The graffiti included swastikas, profanity, and male genitalia.
A car crash has knocked out power to residents on the south side of Missoula Wednesday morning. The crash was reported just after 7 a.m. in the 2500 block of Sunridge Court, south of the Walmart Supercenter.

A Missoula man accused of using women and bringing teenage girls to Montana for prostitution went on trial before a jury in U.S. District Court in Billings on Monday. Terrance Tyrell Edwards, 35, faces 10 counts including sex trafficking by force or coercion, obstruction, a drug charge and witness tampering.
A Circle man is dead after he was ejected from his pickup in a crash Sunday morning. Montana Highway Patrol dispatch reported the 22-year-old man was southbound on Weldon Road and secondary Highway 252 northwest of Circle when he failed to negotiate a curve.
A driver's 1994 Honda Accord was stolen at gunpoint Friday night and the two suspects involved remained at large early Saturday evening. Prosecutors in Montana have filed additional charges against the couple already accused of killing and dismembering two people last summer. Tiffanie Pierce and Augustus Standingrock were charged with two counts of deliberate homicide after the bodies of 15-year-old Marilyn Pickett and 24-year-old Jackson Wiles were found in multiple tubs filled with chemicals in the basement of Pierce’s home in Missoula.

One man died in a Wednesday afternoon fatal shooting in Arlee. The shooter is in custody and witnesses were questioned late Wednesday evening. The call came in just after 3:30 p.m. of a violent altercation in Arlee and when law enforcement arrived to the scene, Lake County Sheriff Don Bell says they discovered one man had been fatally shot.

Authorities are investigating the death of a man on Montana's Fort Belknap Indian Reservation. 48-year-old Antonio Castillo, Jr. was found dead of hypothermia on Dec. 29. FBI supervisory agent Travis Burrows says the agency is investigating the case in coordination with the Fort Belknap Police Department and the Blaine County coroner.

Fire officials say the cause of a blaze that destroyed an agricultural equipment business in north-central Montana has yet to be determined.
