Charlo School District said Wednesday morning it has a received a bomb threat at the school. At approximately 6:45 a.m., school officials said the head custodian found a note containing a bomb threat against the school, officials immediately called local authorities to report the threat.

A 22-year-old Montana man has pleaded not guilty to charges that allege he beat three women with a frying pan, killing one of them. James Isiah Brien of Hardin was arraigned in District Court Tuesday on a charge of deliberate homicide and two counts of assault with a weapon. Prosecutors say Brien beat the women on Feb. 8 in Hardin. One of the women died on Feb. 24.

A Montana teen has pleaded not guilty to bringing a gun to school while a former teacher denied charges she hid it in his classroom. Prosecutors say the 17-year-old student used the gun in an attempt to take another student's lunch money at Hardin High School on Jan. 26. School officials said they removed him from school but could not locate a gun.
