Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Billings convenience store. Sgt. Shane Sheldon said in a press release that the robbery happened Friday at 4:45 a.m. at the Holiday Gas Station, 3226 Rosebud Dr.

The Polson Fire Department reports that nine dogs died after being caught in a weekend house fire on the 500 block of 10th Avenue. According to Polson Assistant Fire Chief Terry Gembala, the couple escaped the house safely and left a door open in hopes their pets would do the same.
Butte: Police are investigating a shooting that occurred at the Acoma Lounge in Uptown Butte early Sunday morning. No one was injured in the shooting, which occurred at approximately 2 a.m.

Bozeman firefighters helped rescue a dog stuck in an icy pond. In a post on Facebook, firefighters said the dog, a Golden Retriever named "Finn," fell through Meyers pond just after 8 a.m. in the Valley West neighborhood.
A 44-year-old eastern Montana man is charged with killing his 80-year-old father by shooting him in the eye. Todd Carlisle Fisher of Glendive was charged Tuesday with deliberate homicide. His bail was set at $1 million. He is scheduled to enter a plea on Nov. 28.

Billings: Police said a man was shot in the back early Monday. Sgt. Pat Curry said the shooting was reported at 1:55 a.m. at 917 N. 19th St. where officers found a 35-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the back of his torso. The man was conscious and transported to St. Vincent Healthcare.
